Mapping the Koasawinkl (June 2012)

Geological mapping with Tim&Timo. The mountain in the background is the so called "Wilder Kaiser" (wild emperor). Far in the back there are the central Alps with the Großglockner barely visible in the mist. Since we were hiking the whole day I only had my kit lens with me, as it is light and quite versatile.

Prague 2011

I was attending a summerschool in Prague. During the breaks I strolled around the city to take some shots with my GF1. Since my lens selection was not very big last year, I mainly used the SLR Magic 35mm/1.7 lens, which has this funny miniaturisation effect when shot wide open.

The jewish cemetary in Prague, a central part of Umberto Ecos novel The Prague Cemetery.

Exciting!

Hello everybody!
This is my first post and I hope there´ll be more to follow. Since I am not much of a writer, I will post mainly pictures about my travels and about the stuff I do. I found the following picture on my desktop, so I will start like this:

Gjirokastra in Albania, the city of 1000 windows. Taken during a fieldtrip in 2011.
